Zora Kite Pendant

A returning customer brought us an old cross pendant adorned with four captivating kite-shaped diamonds. Seeking a contemporary transformation with a romantic touch, she envisioned breathing new life into her cherished piece with a fresh, modern design.

THE CHALLENGES

We carefully removed the kite diamonds from the original design and recreated this beautiful piece. Handling kite-shaped diamonds demands precision and skill due to their susceptibility to chipping. Additionally, the absence of a standard size for kite diamonds meant meticulously measuring each stone to ensure a perfect fit in the new settings.

THE DESIGN

To soften the sharp edges and angles of the kites, we introduced gentle curves, aligning with our client's desire for a romantic and softer aesthetic. The addition of a connecting hoop brings a dynamic element to the pendant. At the heart of the design lies a pale pink sapphire, imparting a special tint of color to the piece.

This is one of our favorite redesign projects, and we take immense pride in this rebirth of elegance.✨
