Recently, we had the privilege of designing a unique engagement ring for a couple who met as students in the university town of Nottingham. Both of Chinese heritage, the pair grew closer over shared classes and cultural ties, gradually evolving from friends to more.

As they approached us at Won Diamond, the couple was looking to capture their journey in a ring that mirrored the brilliance of the stars—a reminder of their very first evening together. Our London-based team provided a private consultation to explore various diamond cuts and settings, where they chose a design that embodied both classic elegance and contemporary flair.

During the design phase, we proposed a ring featuring micro pavé diamonds meticulously arranged around a central stone to reflect every glimmer of light—much like the stars under which they had their first date. Each aspect of the ring was carefully crafted to reflect their shared history and personal tastes.

The final piece was a stunning engagement ring that captured the essence of their love story. The continuous line of diamonds around the central stone symbolized the unending nature of their bond, each shimmer reflecting their cherished memories and dreams for the future.
